in a variety of ways, sizes, speeds, and power levels. "Dragon
Fury": This is a power that reveals Donovan's Sindar form.
He power level increases tremendously and the markings as well
as his red eyes appear. "Demon Rage": Donovan's finishing
attack. Donovan draws his powers into a monstrous energy blast
attack, fired straight at his enemy; however it takes a few seconds
for him to charge up the attack. He can use it in his human form,
but the energy level is greater when combined with the Dragon
Fury.
History: Donovan is the second crowned prince of the Sindars.
Controlling the element of fire, he has been named leader of the
Sindar's special forces (those few super warriors that are called
on when needed). Donovan is somewhat of a troubled youth. As a
child, he can hardly remember the peaceful age of the Sindars.
He also has trouble remembering his mother's face, who died in
battle. For the longest time, Donovan blamed himself because he
wasn't strong enough to protect his family.

Later
on, when the conquest of planets began, Donovan was almost beaten
to death by his own father. During
the training session, Donovan asked why his father didn't die
with his mother. Taking this as an insult, Malakai pummeled Donovan.
The boy's body was broken, beaten, covered in his own blood. The
last thing he remembers before he blacked out was his brother,
Devlin, jumping in to save him. Donovan never understood why his
father grew angry. The question was intended to understand why
his father was strong enough to survive while his mother was not.
Did he possess some special ability that protected him? Malakai
thought Donovan meant that he should have died with his wife.
Although they do not express it, there is a mutual hatred between
Donovan and his father, yet Donovan remains loyal so as not to
disgrace his mother and brother. Devlin and Donovan share a strong
bond as brothers. Constantly training, they have aspired to be
the two strongest Sindars (under their father). Although it would
be nice to have a home, Donovan would much rather spend an eternity
drifting in space if it meant that he could see his mother again.
Because he was so young when she died, he has trouble remembering
her face. He hates himself for forgetting her. In his heart lies
the last shred of the Sindar that is peaceful, but as long as
this conquest continues, that peace is diminished along with the
faded image of Donovan's mother.
 |
For this
reason alone, Donovan attacks and fights as hard as he can, so
that a home may be found for the Sindar, so that peace will return
to their race, and so that he might finally be able to remember
his mother's face. In
his heart, he knows that what he does is wrong, and he wonders
how long it will be until he can once aghain fight with pride
rather than shame. To e-mail Donovan Aleron, click here.
